Jari Lam is an experienced business professional with a multifaceted background encompassing retail banking, event coordination, and legal assistance. Her career began at RBC in West Vancouver, where she excelled as a Client Advisor. She was the first point of contact for high-value clients from diverse backgrounds, and she played a pivotal role in mentoring colleagues to deliver outstanding client experiences. Her exceptional performance earned her recognition as a quarterly top performer.

In late 2019, Jari relocated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she was promoted as a Banking Advisor at RBC. In this position, she honed her leadership, communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills.

She gained extensive experience in relationship management, personal lending, and investments, while also developing a deep understanding of business acumen.

Jari's career continued to evolve as she joined the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, first as a Website Specialist and later as an Event Assistant. As a Website Specialist, she assisted businesses with their online presence and provided valuable feedback to the web development team. During the busy event season, Jari played a crucial role in event preparation, execution, and follow-up, and her engagement with Winnipeg's business community fueled her growing interest in entrepreneurship.

In 2022, Jari transitioned to a Legal Assistant role at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP, specializing in Corporate and Commercial Real Estate. She gained knowledge in corporate setup and maintenance, enhanced due diligence, preparation of legal documents required for mortgage lending, and registration of security and mortgages using Personal Property Registry and Land Titles Office. This role allowed her to refine her administrative and organizational skills while supporting real estate transactions.

Jari is deeply committed to community service, having volunteered as the Director of Finance and Administration at SFU Actions, a student-led organization dedicated to raising awareness about homelessness in Vancouver. She also dedicated her time to the Canadian Cancer Society, supporting their mission to aid those battling cancer.

Jari holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business with a concentration in Finance, Operations Management, and Management Information Systems (Honors).
